Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026  ·  Last updated: October 12, 2026

Marina Online Services LLC ("Marina Online Services", "we", "us" or "our") is a Florida limited liability company based in Miami, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit marinaonlineservices.com (the "Website") or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the rights and choices you have. It is written with Florida law in mind, including the Florida Digital Bill of Rights (FDBR) and applicable federal laws such as CAN-SPAM and COPPA.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or contact us by email, WhatsApp or Instagram, we may collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Email address
  • The content of your message, such as details about your vessel, its location (marina) and the service you need

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider may record basic technical data in server logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of the visit. This is used only for security, troubleshooting and performance.

Information we do not collect. The Website does not collect payment card or bank details, does not offer user accounts, and does not collect precise geolocation or any sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric or financial account data). Payments for our services are handled separately through invoicing.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes
  • To schedule, carry out and follow up on work on your vessel
  • To provide customer support, including remote network support
  • To send service-related communications (confirmations, reminders, invoices)
  • To keep the Website secure and working properly
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations and to protect our rights

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Phone calls and text messages

We do not send marketing calls or text messages. If you choose to give us your phone number, we will use it only to reply to your request or to coordinate service on your vessel. We never sell or share phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Emails

If we send you commercial emails, they will identify us, include our physical address and include a simple way to unsubscribe, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. We will honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Website does not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or third-party analytics. Only strictly necessary technical cookies may be used by our hosting provider to deliver the Website securely.

Some pages include third-party content: the Contact page embeds a Google Maps map, and the Website links to WhatsApp and Instagram. When you interact with these services, the provider (Google or Meta) may set its own cookies or collect data under its own privacy policy. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; blocking them will not prevent you from using the main features of the Website.

If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy before doing so and, where required, ask for your consent.

6. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under obligations to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us, such as:

  • Website hosting and form processing (Netlify)
  • Email and document services (Google Workspace)
  • Messaging and social media platforms you choose to contact us through (WhatsApp, Instagram)
  • Professional advisors such as accountants or lawyers, when necessary

We may also disclose information when required by law, court order or government request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our clients, our team or others. If our business is reorganized or sold, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

7. Your privacy rights

Consistent with the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, and regardless of whether it legally applies to a business of our size, we honor the following requests from any user:

  • Access: to confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy of it
  • Correction: to correct inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: to have your personal data deleted, subject to legal record-keeping obligations
  • Portability: to receive your data in a portable format, where technically feasible
  • Opt-out: of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and profiling (we do not engage in any of these)
  • Withdraw consent: to receive emails from us at any time

To make a request, email sales@marinaonlineservices.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will review the decision.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Inquiries that do not lead to a service are generally deleted within 24 months. Records related to services provided and invoices are kept as long as required by tax and accounting laws.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS, shown as https in your browser), access limited to authorized personnel, and secure, password-protected business accounts with two-factor authentication where available. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).

10. Children's privacy

The Website and our services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, including children under 13 as defined by COPPA. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Users outside the United States

The Website is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website.
